A group of industry insiders has taken a financial stake in FinPal (www.finpal.com.au), a provider of business and client management software for financial advisers, mortgage brokers and accountants.
According to FinPal’s CEO, Stephen Handley, the timing of the capital injection could not be better.
“There’s a growing realisation in financial services that better technology is the only way to move to a more client centric business model, while simultaneously reducing the cost of doing business. The interest in our solution has jumped significantly over the past few months so we need to prepare for the inevitable tipping point. As well as the obvious financial benefit, the skills and experience this group brings to the table will play a crucial part in moving our business closer to its goals.”
FinPal’s solution builds upon Microsoft suite of cloud-based enterprise technologies such as Dynamics 365, Power BI and Azure. According to Mr. Handley, the decision to use Microsoft as a foundation is quickly paying dividends.
“Delivering financial services is largely an exercise in data management. The limitation with legacy software systems, is their lack of a real CRM. By using Microsoft’s enterprise technologies as the foundation of our system, the critical elements of data management are already in place, which reduces development costs and time to market. It also allows us to focus purely on the experience of our customers and their clients, which aligns perfectly with the move to a more client centric business model.”
The group of investors is led by Mr. Matthew Fenning, who will take a seat on FinPal’s board. Matthew is managing director of Fortuity Strategic Advisors and believes FinPal is a game changer for the industry.
“Having explored many of the technology solutions available to advisers, I’m excited by how FinPal will add value to clients, advisers and licensees alike. With a Microsoft driven CRM combined with their focus on a client-centric, goals-based advice model I see a technology offering that is ready to move with an evolving advice industry and ultimately afford advisers more time to focus on seeing and servicing clients.”
FinPal is a fully integrated, cloud-based financial planning software system designed to enable financial services professionals to deliver better quality outcomes to more clients at lower costs.
At the heart FinPal’s system is a customised version of Microsoft’s, enterprise grade, Dynamics 365 CRM, ensuring reliability and scalability. Integration with Office 365 and other Microsoft software is seamless. FinPal has added all the features essential to delivering a solution that is instantly useful out of the box but easily customised for unique business needs.
